Your Will expresses what you want to happen to your property when you die.  It also appoints your Executor, the person who you want to carry out your wishes.

It is very important to get proper advice when drafting your Will to ensure that your intentions are properly communicated and the chances of a successful challenge are minimised.

Have you been appointed as an Executor of a Will, or has a family member died without a Will?

We can assist you in the administration of the Estate, gain Probate if there is a Will, or Letters of Administration if there is no Will.

If you have been left out of a Will or feel that you should have received more than you did, you may be able to make an application to the Supreme Court for provision from the Estate, this is sometimes called "challenging the Will".

There are strict time limits for making such a challenge, so you need to make an appointment with us as soon as possible to discuss your case and entitlements.

The appointment of someone to look after your financial  and personal affairs, operate your bank accounts, sign documents on your behalf, deal with your doctors and make life decisions on your behalf is an extremely serious and important matter. 

You cannot make these appointments if you have lost your mental capabilities, so it is important to make them while you have the capacity to do so.  We can ensure the documentation is in proper form and clearly express your instructions and desires.
