LIQUOR LICENSING

If you are involved in the hospitality industry, you would be more than aware that major changes to the legislation regulating the industry have recently come into force with the commencement of the Liquor Act 2007.  The new Act has replaced the Liquor Administration Board and Licensing Court with the new Casino Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Whether you are setting up a new business and need to obtain a license, or you are simply trying to have changes made to your current license, we have an in-depth understanding of Liquor Licensing legislation and regulations.

We can advise you in regard to the types of licences available, the requirements you will have to meet in order to obtain a licence, and successfully guide you through the application process.

Our experienced lawyers provide practical, sound advice that can save you considerable time, effort and money when dealing with the various bodies involved. We can also represent you in Court should you find yourself charged with breaching the conditions of your current licence, or facing complaints or disciplinary procedures brought by the Department or the NSW Police.

Our services in this field include:

  • Representation before the Authority and/or Court
  • Advice regarding types of licence
